Event Details
This event will be a relaxed and welcoming gathering for families and friends in the Williams Syndrome community. Guests will meet in the Main Dining Hall, with clear signage available upon entering the camp to help guide everyone to the space.
The atmosphere is designed to be casual and family-friendly, with a variety of engaging activities for all ages. There will be interactive stations set up indoors for self-guided exploration, along with light, allergy-friendly appetizers and drinks available. While attendees are welcome to bring their own food and beverages if they prefer, it is not necessary. To maintain a safe, inclusive environment, alcohol is not permitted, and smoking of any kind is prohibited on camp premises.
For those who enjoy outdoor fun, weather permitting, there will also be backyard-style games and activities available, including sports equipment, a parachute, sidewalk chalk, and bubbles—perfect for encouraging play and connection among children and families.
In addition to the recreational elements, the event will feature a resource table dedicated to supporting families. This table will include information on local Williams Syndrome organizations, educational resources, and support for learning differences. There is also a possibility of a special story time session, as organizers are hoping to welcome a representative from the nearby Eureka Hills Library branch in St. Louis County.
Importantly, this is a free event—there are no entrance or registration fees. All planned activities, games, and experiences are included, making it an accessible and enriching opportunity for families to connect, learn, and enjoy time together.
