Despite facing challenges, Sherry's heart was as big as her smile, and she never met a stranger. She was employed at Evergreen Skills from the young age of 16 and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Her love for the Clemson Tigers was well-known, she had a special place in her heart for animals, particularly cats, and found joy in the simple pleasures of fishing. Her fondness for Chick-Fil-A was matched only by her unwavering belief in the magic of Santa Claus and the Easter Bunny.

My sweet cousin ❤️Sherry, you never met a stranger, and made a difference in the lives of the people who knew you, and even though we didn’t always get along, or at all really until after I grew up, I will miss the conversations I did get to have with you, and checking the answering machine each evening and hearing the voicemails that you would leave us letting us know that you had called and to call you back, or seeing you at church and family gatherings. You are missed by all of us down here, but I know that you’re in a better place now, and that you are overjoyed to be with your Mama again.
