Leonard Jerome Roth 7/29/59–11/4/17
(Please feel free to leave a memory or photo in the comments below)
As one of the most likeable and extremely friendly members of the student body, Leonard was voted most popular senior by his peers before graduating from A.L. Johnson Regional High School in 1980. Later on, Leonard was employed by the Occupational Center of Union County for the disabled for 25 years and, after prolonged illnesses and rehabilitation, Leonard became a Greeter for CAU's Cranford Day Program. Growing up in Clark, Leonard spent long afternoons riding his red Schwinn bicycle around town, greeting friends and strangers alike and looking forward to getting his daily dose of coffee and doughnuts. After becoming a permanent fixture at the local fire department, spreading good cheer and checking out the fire engines as well as drinking cupfuls of coffee, the Clark Fire Department honored Leonard by making him an official member.
