Katherine "Katie" Regan

Katie radiated joy and lit up every room she entered. Everyone who ever had the pleasure of meeting her knew she was a special person.

Katie attended schools in the West Des Moines and Johnston school districts in Iowa, and was heavily involved with school activities, including choir and cheerleading. She spent the last 17 years of her life living in group homes managed by the Childserve organization, where she made many life-long friends.

Katie was truly one of a kind. She had a love of music, singing, and dancing. She loved people and parties. She found immense joy in taking part in Dance Vision competitions, Iowa Miss Amazing pageants, the Miracle League, Special Olympics, and the Childserve BubbleBall Event.
