2026 Convention Hotels

BEFORE MAKING YOUR RESERVATION, PLEASE TAKE A MOMENT TO READ THE IMPORTANT INFORMATION BELOW!

• We're hearing that most of the 2 bedded rooms in the room blocks are currently fully booked. We're working to try to make more rooms available. In the meantime, if you booked any rooms "just in case", please release your extra rooms so others may book theirs. 

• There are currently King Suites with sleeper sofa rooms available at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites. It's a newer hotel with great amenities. If you still need a room, it is currently an option. 

• You MUST use the booking links to get a room in our blocks - particularly at the Hyatt. Calling the Hyatt will NOT help you book a room - in fact, they will tell you that there are no rooms available/no rooms with sleeper sofas, because they're only visible through our block online. 

As attendance at our biennial conventions increases, so does our need for meeting space and sleeping rooms. This year, the WSA has secured room blocks at 5 hotels, all of which are less than .4 miles from the Buffalo Convention Center. If you've never attended a convention before, you may not know that the "host hotel" lobby has historically been THE place for adults with WS to hang out in the evenings. In Buffalo, there is no true "host hotel" - and all of the hotel lobbies are actually very small. The Buffalo Convention Center will be the host of the majority of the activities for the 2026 Convention, including the evening activities. Instead of a hotel lobby being a gathering place for individuals with WS to hang out in the evenings, there will be a WSA Social Club Lounge at the Convention Center, where individuals with WS 18 and older can hang out in the evenings. The lounge will provide a place to socialize, as well as activities, music, and other fun. We'll share more information about location and hours of the lounge as we get closer to July. 

The only programs that will be hosted in a hotel will be the Infant, Toddler, and School-Age programs. Those programs will be at the Hyatt Regency, which has a walkway over to the convention center. Please note that you do NOT need to stay at the Hyatt to have your child participate in those day care programs. It will be easy to drop your child off for their program, then head over to the convention center for parent/caregiver programming at the Buffalo Convention Center.

The WSA has secured discounted room blocks at following hotels:

• Hampton Inn & Suites Buffalo Downtown
• Hilton Garden Inn Buffalo
• Holiday Inn Express & Suites Downtown Buffalo

All hotels are within a few blocks of each other, and no hotel is further than .4 miles from the Buffalo Convention Center. IMPORTANT NOTE: To book within the WSA Room Blocks, you MUST use the buttons/links below to reserve your room.

HYATT REGENCY BUFFALO

The Hyatt Regency Buffalo is .2 miles (4 minute walk) from the Buffalo Convention Center. It is also connected to Level 2 of the Convention Center by a footbridge.

• Room types and rates available 7/4 - 7/15/2026 (not including tax):
  • King: $189/night
  • 2 Doubles: $189/night
  • King with sofa sleeper: $189/night
• You MUST book in the block using our booking link below to receive this rate.
• Rooms may be booked by using the links below through June 7, 2026 or until the room block is full.
• A deposit equal to one night’s room rate + tax will be charged at booking and is refundable until Sunday, June 7, 2026.
• Reservations cancelled after Sunday, June 7, 2026 are non-refundable and non-transferrable.
• You will NOT be able to call Central Reservations and book a room in our block. You MUST use the booking links below.
