Downbeach Film Festival 2nd Annual Walk for Williams
Thank you for being a part of WS Awareness Week 2011!

Williams syndrome (WS) is a genetic condition that is present at birth and can affect anyone. It is characterized by medical problems, including cardiovascular disease, developmental delays, and learning disabilities. There are estimated to be approximately 30,000 people with Williams syndrome in the United States. The Williams Syndrome Association (WSA) is the most comprehensive resource for people and families living with WS as well as doctors, researchers and educators. They fund groundbreaking research, host camps and conventions, provide scholarships, coordinate regional programming and more.
Williams Syndrome Awareness Week was launched in 2010 and was marked by more than 40 events nationwide. This year, the Williams syndrome community is determined to continue this momentum in order to help put Williams syndrome “on the map.”
By joining forces with the WSA and local volunteers, you are changing the future for all individuals with Williams syndrome. Thank you for being a part of WS Awareness Week 2011.
